Offering remedial support by volunteers and mobilizing resources for child-education. Additionally, building vocational skills of youth and women through trainings enabling individuals to thrive in various fields and make meaningful contributions to the society.
6089 Children of 45 Govt. schools in 2 blocks have access to well decorated and equipped fun & learn libraries.
Books transaction of 12906 books by the children, teachers and community members from the libraries. An avg. transaction per children was 5.7 books at quarterly basis.
In the GROWBY Assessment comparing baselines with the end of the year, significant changes in reading abilities were noted across different proficiency levels in 80% of targeted children.
86% students improved their academic performance during the project through tuition classes and library intervention. The assessment includes languages (Hindi & English) and Mathematics through predefined assessment tool.
A commendable positive trend was seen in 98% schools with separate rooms for libraries, ramped toilets for children with disabilities, and the availability of games material, playground, teacher v/s pupil ratio with notable increases through SMC strengthening and effective planning.
219 slum children were benefited with Informal Education Centre while 56 drop out children have been admitted in school again.
101 slum children were facilitated to get Adhaar Cards and birth certificate to be eligible for different entitlements i.e. education, nutrition & health.
246 slum dweller women and children received routine immunization through advocacy with health department of Ajmer.
33 slum girls were llinked with Anganwadi to receive sanitary napkins and IFA Tablets on regular basis.
Currently, 343 children are getting financial support to continue their schools and higher studies including 36 orphans, 90 widows, 179 single parent and 38 HIV+.
460 women and girls in urban, semi-urban area and central Jail of Ajmer enhanced their vocational skills tailoring, beautician and computer operation. 69% (320) trainees adopted the skills and earning INR 500 to 4000 monthly.
110 children have completed their professional courses and placed in different field of careers, i.e. nursing, electrician, teaching, lab-technician, engineering etc.
12942 cases of child abuse, rescue and in need of support intervened in last 3 years through Child-line 1098 as a nodal NGO.
426 underprivileged children completed their schooling through sponsorship program so far.
